Kinara by Vikas Khanna Launches 'Forgotten Flavours' Series

Kinara by Vikas Khanna, located at JA Lake View Hotel in Dubai, is launching its exclusive quarterly culinary series, "Forgotten Flavours," designed to celebrate India’s rich culinary heritage. The inaugural event, titled 'Utsav– Festivals of India,' will take place on Friday, October 3rd, featuring a curated menu by renowned Chef Vikas Khanna, grape pairings by Sula Wines, and an intimate dining experience.

This series aims to explore and revive traditional Indian culinary practices with each edition showcasing a unique theme. Coming events will include explorations into 'The Royal Kitchens of India,' 'Peninsular Cuisine of India,' 'Nomadic Food Tradition of India,' and 'Forgotten Grains of India.' Each event will offer guests a chance to engage with heritage recipes reimagined for contemporary gastronomy.

'The series is set to be one of the season’s most anticipated dining experiences,' said a representative from Kinara. The first dinner will pay homage to India's vibrant festivals, presenting a multi-course meal that encapsulates the spirit of celebration through traditional flavors redefined for today’s palate.

Guests will have the unique opportunity to meet Michelin-acclaimed Chef Vikas Khanna during the event, receive a bespoke keepsake gift, and enjoy a specially designed menu that includes stories, recipes, and traditions surrounding Indian festivals. Each guest will be treated to an immersive experience that not only satisfies the palate but also enriches the mind.

This dinner also marks the 6th anniversary of Kinara, a culinary destination known for its exquisite decor and sophisticated take on Indian cuisine. With only 60 seats available for this exclusive event, dining enthusiasts are encouraged to reserve their spots promptly.

Details of the event are as follows: the dinner will commence at 7:30 PM and will cost AED 650 per person, which includes multi-course meals and grape pairings. Reservations can be made for a limited number of attendees.
