99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant Introduces Seasonal Tasting Menu

Abu Dhabi’s 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant, located in The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, has launched a new seasonal tasting menu to celebrate Fuyu (winter). Available until the end of March, this menu features 13 specially curated dishes designed to satisfy enthusiasts of Japanese cuisine.

Notable offerings from the seasonal menu include the Kobe Edamame, sautéed with spicy shichimi togarashi and mixed with Kobe wagyu fat. Another standout dish is the Gunkan, featuring fatty tuna tartar topped with in-house smoked beef bacon and a quail egg. For those seeking a crispy yet tender delight, the Tiger Prawn Tempura is a must-try, served with a spicy creamy sauce. To conclude the meal, guests can indulge in the Chocolate Mountain, a dessert finished with delicate shavings of white truffle.

“Our seasonal tasting menu is crafted to delight our patrons and showcase the beauty and complexity of Japanese flavors during winter,” said a spokesperson from 99 Sushi Bar.

  • Capumiso Soup - fermented soy with seaweed, truffle, leeks, and tofu foam
  • Spanish Red Shrimp - prepared with wasabi at two temperatures
  • King Crab Au Gratin - with wasabi, tobiko, and yuzu mayonnaise
  • Yellowtail Carpaccio - with ponzu sauce and soy
  • Nigiri options including Salmon Flambe with lime and Toro Flambe with tomato puree
  • Grilled Foie - with raspberry and tare sauce
  • Chocolate Mountain - completed with white truffle
  • Coffee/Tea
