Dubai, UAE, February 2026: This Ramadan, Purani Dilli at Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road is set to introduce a special culinary experience, "Iftar from Two Worlds," which celebrates the intersection of North Indian and Moroccan cuisine. This unique buffet, priced at AED 139 per person, aims to highlight the rich traditions and cultural narratives present during the holy month.
The event is spearheaded by Purani Dilli’s Head Chef Mohammad Afzal Qureshi, an expert in authentic North Indian flavours, alongside Moroccan Head Chef Abderahim El Kamri, whose distinguished career encompasses high-end hotels and royal residences across different regions. Together, they have curated a menu that merges traditional recipes with innovative cooking techniques.
Emphasizing the values of community and generosity associated with Ramadan, the Iftar will commence with traditional dates and Ramadan juices, complemented by comforting soups such as Moroccan Harira and lentil soup. Guests will find a diverse array of hot and cold mezze, kebabs, and signature starters reflective of both cultures.
The rotating menu features Moroccan specialties like slow-cooked lamb ouzi, chicken couscous, and various tagines, paired with North Indian favorites such as butter chicken, mutton korma, and freshly baked naan. An extravagant dessert selection will present Arabic and Indian sweets, including kunafa, baklava, and festive pastries.
