Maki & Ramen Introduces Interactive Dining This April

Maki & Ramen is set to enhance the dining scene in Dubai this April with two innovative interactive experiences. The restaurant aims to inject fun and competition into the dining experience, offering guests a chance to engage through games while enjoying flavorful sushi and ramen.

The first experience, Sushi Battleship, transforms dining into a game. Participants will play a sushi-themed version of the classic board game designed for two players. Priced at AED 180, each game includes 16 pieces of sushi and two unique 'wasabi bombs.' A dedicated game master will guide diners as they strategize and compete on a colorful sushi board. In an added incentive, guests who share their game on social media and tag the restaurant can earn a complimentary ramen dish.

Another challenge, the Firecracker Ramen Level 8, is a nod to International Ramen Day. This special ramen dish, available for AED 88, packs a serious punch with its spicy flavor profile. Diners attempting the dish must finish the bowl within five minutes to receive it for free, but the challenge doesn't end there. Participants must endure without drinking a milk-based beverage for an additional three minutes to prove their spice tolerance. Successful challengers will gain recognition on the restaurant’s Wall of Fame and compete for the fastest time throughout the month for a chance to win an All You Can Eat voucher.

“After the intense pace we have all been navigating, a bit of play, a little competition and the chance to win something along the way feels very welcome,” said a representative from Maki & Ramen.

This unique dining experience is set to run from April 4 to April 30, 2026, and is designed for guests looking to engage through cuisine, entertainment, and competition. Maki & Ramen is located on the R Floor of the Mövenpick Hotel, Jumeirah Village Triangle, with operational hours from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
