Arada Invests AED60 Million in Brooki Bakehouse for Expansion

Dubai, UAE: Arada has announced an AED60 million investment in Brooki Bakehouse, an Australian bakery celebrated for its viral social media presence. This investment aims to accelerate the brand's international expansion, with plans to establish a foothold in the United Arab Emirates this year, followed by further international markets in 2026.

Brooki Bakehouse was founded in 2022 by Brooke Bellamy, beginning as a modest 41-square-metre outlet in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley. Since then, it has grown into one of Australia's leading dessert brands, renowned for its delectable cookies and visually appealing celebration cakes. The brand has amassed a loyal following of over 4 million fans, frequently drawing lines that wrap around the block.

“This investment in Brooki Bakehouse reflects Arada’s commitment to creating meaningful lifestyle experiences that connect people through culture, food and design, as well as our track record of investing in and expanding best-in-class Australian brands overseas,” said Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada.

He elaborated that this investment will facilitate Brooki's growth into new markets, particularly in regions where Arada operates, such as the UAE and UK, while reinforcing its existing presence in Australia.

Brooke Bellamy, the founder of Brooki Bakehouse, expressed her enthusiasm regarding the investment: “This transaction is about taking an Australian story to a global stage. We built Brooki from scratch — no shortcuts, no compromises — and now, with Arada, we have the platform and resources to share our creativity, quality, and community with the world.”

The deal follows notable interest from international investors and franchise groups, positioning Arada as the perfect partner due to their shared vision for creativity and lifestyle-driven experiences.

Brooki's growth trajectory has been rapid but deliberate, expanding to five locations in Australia with a new store set to open at Sydney Airport. Last year, the brand made headlines with its international debut at a food festival in Abu Dhabi, where eager customers waited over two hours for fresh cookies, highlighting Brooki's broad appeal.

As part of the new partnership, Arada plans to launch several Brooki Bakehouse pop-ups throughout the UAE starting at the end of November, with flagship stores expected to open in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain in early 2026. This investment aligns with Arada’s swift expansion into emerging markets and diversifying its portfolio, which includes partnerships with various Australian lifestyle brands.

Founded in the UAE in 2017, Arada has successfully launched ten prominent communities and expanded into international markets, including the UK and Australia. Its portfolio boasts a range of brands and experiences, from food and beverage concepts to wellness initiatives.
